  • Trained as a state-examined licensed massage therapist at the Institute of Natural Health in Gainesville, Florida. Main areas of study: Connective Tissue Massage and Therapy, Polarity (Energy Work according to Dr. R. Stone), Relaxation Work, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Trigger-Point Therapy©, Reflexology and Kinesiology (1983-1985)
  • Colon-Hydrotherapeutic training, state-examined licensed colon therapist, Nutrition and Detoxification (1984)
  • Worked as an assistant at the Institute of Natural Health, concerned with patterns and sequences of movement (1985)
  • Joined the teaching staff at the Institute of Natural Health 1985 - Extended the curriculum by a course on joint problems, "Arthritis Massage and Maintenance for Healthy Joints". "Positional Release", an osteopathic method of dealing with pain in the body, was part of the curriculum.
